My library is still present in EndNote. Really hoping someone can help me! The box just closes as if it has confirmed the change but the ribbon fails to show in Word and when I go back into Options it is still listed as disabled - no error message or anything on trying to reactivate.
Can anyone help? Of course this is a rather important assignment that chooses to break today, of course. I was having the same issue with CYWY and tried every potential solution given in other threads related to CYWY not automatically appearing when using in-text citations. Nothing worked! What solved the issue for me is changing the citation delimiters. Under the Format Bibliography tab, make sure the temporary citation delimiters are set to what you are using to bring up a citation while writing.
I changed the delimiters to [] for left and right and now CYWY works like a charm! Have a try Click on the startup menu in Windows. Click go. Enable CWYW. Go to step 5. Lost too much hours of my life on that one, I hope it helps. At the bottom left of the screen, click the drop down menu on Tools. Click Configure Bibliography. Hope this helps!

I'm not sure what kind of Help you expect us to be able to give :- I sincerely don't mean to be snarky, but you've chosen to use a newly-released version of Word for which a 3rd party developer [Thomson Reuters] has not yet provided a compatible version of their add-in utility. I'm afraid there's nothing anyone here can do about that. As of today the most recent info I've found on the EndNote site remains unchanged:. I do see on their Twitter page that there apparently is a beta getting underway.

I don't profess to be an expert on such matters so I posted here I appreciate that you in your reply did give me some insight into the why I am having issues.
That sir should have been your only aim rather than a condescending and belittling start to your reply. I hope that in future that if I or others who may not have your experience to find our own answers or solutions that we may be given some help and guidance with some.
